We will definitely be coming back some day.The Gulf of Papagayo is a large body of water off Guanacaste province and the northwestern coast of Costa Rica. The sports bar is open til 1 am so there is always something to do there! The food is also very good and all of the staff are so nice and welcoming! Our favourite restaurant was the Tex Max Mexican restaurant because the chicken fajitas were amazing. After the show we would go to the sports bar and we enjoyed listening to karaoke and dancing. We also really enjoyed all of the entertainment at the resort including the pool activities throughout the day and the nightly shows.

Plus there is always golf carts available to take you from place to place so you don’t have to walk if you don’t want to. That would be my only con about the resort however, my husband and I really enjoyed the uphill walks especially in the morning after breakfast because we were able to get some exercise after our meal. The resort is unique because it’s on a mountain and there is a lot of walking so going uphill can be a challenge. When we got there we were amazed and thought the resort was even more beautiful in person. When we saw the pictures online the resort looked beautiful with lots of dining options and we we’re excited to travel to somewhere new as we had never been to Costa Rica before. My husband and I chose this resort to stay and celebrate our one year wedding anniversary.
